Step by step it’s getting closer, my escape into the world beyond these walls. The door inches open, my chance to be free and escape this city of putrid disease. Crawling through the darkness, I am the night. Waiting for this sliver of light. Condemned to the darkness in the corners of my mind. I witness the face of the morning sun, it’s rays paint patterns across the landscape. The light comes pouring in. Vagabond. Overcome the obstructs of it all. Vagabond. Carry on into the world beyond.
